Trafalgar is served by the Nineveh - Hensley - Jackson United School Corporation (Indian Creek Schools). The elementary, middle and high schools are located within ½ mile of Lancaster Gateway. The new and expanded Johnson County Library, currently under construction, sits at the entrance of Lancaster Gateway. Public safety is served by the Town of Trafalgar and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department . The Johnson Memorial Hospital is 9 miles away in Franklin and they also operate a non - emergency clinic in Trafalgar Square. Trafalgar has a fire/EMT station that is currently served by volunteers.
